International Harley-Davidson Festival

The Festival in 2010 will be having a longer duration, aiming for the bikers and bike enthusiast to spend more time together. Throughout the Festival that spans from Sunday to Sunday, we can have a nice holiday together and we can enjoy the numerous amenities offered by the lake Balaton and its surroundings.

We will obviously cater for the bikers as well, providing them with lots of opportunities to mount their machines for various guided tours and biker games, if they feel like it. These programs would offer the opportunity for the bikers to look around and see some of the sights in the immediate vicinity of Alsóörs, and to get introduced to the wide range of tourist offerings around the lake itself. At the stops of the tours, the bikers will be introduced to the unmatched gastronomy of Hungary in cozy restaurants and taverns.

We shall, obviously, continue with the traffic safety and security campaign launched in 2007, together with the National Accident Prevention Committee the campaign has an ever-growing supporter base since its inception. Throughout the tours, bikers can show a good example of the cultured way of riding and they can also enhance the cooperation and interconnection between the various actors in road traffic.

Soma Wine Cellar

The Soma Cellar Vinotheque and Wine Collection, the only vinotheque in this area is operated in the cellar of a two-hundred-year old country mansion on the northern shore of Lake Balaton, near the main road. The owner, Gábor Both was born into the world of viticulture: his great-grandfather, Soma Sebők Felsősajói, his grandfather, his father as well as himself used to produce wine, however he does not own a vineyard now. In his cellar you can find the bottled wines of the most famous wine-growers in Hungary. The best wines of the northern and southern shores of Lake Balaton, the wine-growing regions of Mt. Somló, the towns of Eger, Szekszárd, Villány and Tokaj are displayed on the shelves. The museum piece wines and the rarities from 'great' vintages have a separate shelf.

They organise wine-tasting tours for wine lovers monthly. They sell wine to prestigious restaurants and inns. They organise educational days for waiters and waitresses for a greater expertise in viticulture. They took on the popularization of wine culture which constitutes an organic part of the Hungarian gastronomy and which has the potential to restore the reputation of the Hungarian wine.

They live in the house above the cellar all year round, which means that they have very flexible opening hours. In general they are open from 10 a.m. till 11 p.m., however they are ready to entertain guests at any time, even groups of 50, if prearranged over the phone. During wine-tasting cheese, walnuts and whole-wheat bread slices are served between two types of wine. Water, tasting utensils and spittoons are all accessories of professional wine-tasting.

Serpa Adventure Park

Park 2003 was opened on Lake Bob Balatonfűzfő track and swimming pool right next to Lake Balaton. Three years of age, physical activity can be expected at the end of the slide, climb, guests who wish to shoot. The participation in street clothing is appropriate. The optimal worn closed shoes and sportswear is recommended. We are proud that many of the newly built park sample, as also to the design of the construction last ecsetvonásáig everything in-house, we have created with their own hands.

They hold in high respect its church of the 13th century full of Gothic, Baroque as well as folk stylistical marks. The same refers to its historic building of the Middle Ages, the Törökház (Turkish house) wich is well-known all over Europe. Every summer there are versatile entertaining, cultural programs, exhibitions, church concerts, discos, outdoor programs which guarantee a useful way of pastime.
