If you are visiting Budapest, than after the daily sightseeing tours it’s worth to taste the night life of the city. Budapest is one of best place in this theme. The pubs are brilliant (I prefer the open air clubs like – Rio, Zold Pardon, West Balkan), the girls are beautiful, people are friendly, and feeling is great. Outdoors places:

Rio (Café del Rio)

Most of the younger population comes here to this lively spot located on the Buda side of the Petofi Bridge to come to unwind. When you come here you almost feel as if you are in London's Soho, this is the biggest outdoor entertainment hot spot in Budapest. From April to September you can come and enjoy the night life. Rio offers an open, outdoor space with a great atmosphere that attracts 5-6000 people a night. West Balkan

A popular open air place behind the Corvin Cinema in the Futo street (VIII. district). The most simply way to reach it is to travel by number 4 or 6 tram until Ferenc korut station, than take a few minutes walk on Ulloi street till Futo str. A great place too, I also recommend it. Cheap prices!! Zold Pardon (Green pardon)

Zold Pardon is opposite of the Rio at Petofi bridge, close to the Danube. When I was there, there was an entry of apr. 0,5 Euro, J and live music. (It was a Hungarian band –hungarian songs, which I didn’t understood -, but they were great). Indoor clubs I said that I prefer the open air places, but there is some indoor clubs also in Budapest. Inside is located next to the Danube in an old building but place is great. Big enough to feel yourself well. It is between Petofi and Szabadsag (Freedom) bridge on the Pest side. Close to the University of Economy.

Oldman’s pub

This place is a well known pub in Budapest, but I won’t recommend it. It’s a quiet small place close to the Blaha Lujza square. Lot of people, small dance floor, no air, smell the smoke… But maybe you will enjoy it… Everybody knows in the city this place, and people say it is a good place… So it is up to you… Maybe worth to try it…
