Our Wellness Hotel KAKADU ***superior has been welcoming its guests for nearly 15 years, and from February 2009 it awaits you with a completely new atmosphere: following the newest trends it offers extended „wellness”, medical and „selfness” services. The hotel is located in Keszthely, some 500 metres from the shore of Lake Balaton. The two buildings of the hotel are connected with a wellness area, which features a heated overflow pool, and plenty of exotic and Mediterranean plants. From the pool you can take the panorama lift to the roof terrace, from where you can enjoy a breath-taking view of the town Keszthely.

Entering Keszthely via M7 from Budapest, follow Kossuth street (main street) and signs for Kakadu Hotel, through the center of Keszthely, than from the Vásár square continue straight for 1 km ( after the traffic lights) on the Tapolcai street. At the Lóczy street turn right. Take the he third street on the right. Here you can find our hotel.

A párommal voltam most, de ez már az 5. alkalom amit itt eltöltöttünk itt. voltunk már testvérekkel, baráti társasággal is itt, ill. a környezetünkből már nagyon sokan, kollégák barátok rokonok is nélkülünk. Ez szerintem mindent elmond. Csillagos 5-ös a Kakadu.

Udvariasság, kedvesség és családias hangulat.
A személyzet kifogástalan :) Remek akciós csomagok. Pont annyit fizettünk, ami előre le volt írva...nincsenek rejtett költségek.
Bőséges, finom reggeli...öröm volt ébredni. És a gyertyás pezsgőfürdő feledhetetlen:)

A hirdetésben szereplő 4 csillaggal szemben a szobái max 2-t érdemelnek. (matrac helyett egy lapos habszivacs, nyikorgó leharcolt nyílászárók, bútorok)

A szálloda wellness részlege köszönhetően a sok növénynek is, nagyon elnyerte a tetszésünket, a személyzet kedves és mindig szolgálatkész.
A reggeli minden nap ízletes volt, és a választék is megfelelő, egyedül a "kávé vagy tea" választási lehetősége nem tetszett. Jobb lenne, ha nem vagy-vagy választás elé állítanának, hanem akár minden "reggeli ital" elfogyasztását szabadon lehetővé tennék. (Pl. amikor a személyzet látta, hogy (még...)nem a kért teából iszom, hanem a párom által kért kávéból, akkor a doboz teát elvitték egy másik asztalhoz, pedig szerettem volna fogyasztani belőle....).
Ezt az apróságot leszámítva nagyon kellemesen éreztük magunkat, és előszeretettel ajánljuk a hotelt ismerőseinknek is.

Kicsit zavaró, hogy az étkező részben tartózkodó embereken és a wellness részlegen keresztül kell a szobákat megközelíteni, illetve az éppen bejelentkező és távozó vendégek is egy kicsi légtérben vannak az étkező emberekkel. Aki az átjáró közelében ül, a szűk hely miatt nem tud nyugodtan étkezni. Egyes szobák légkondicionáltak csak, így a nagy melegben szinte elviselhetetlen a szoba, illetve az étkező+recepció terület, amit tetéz még a wellness részlegből kiáramló pára. Kicsit távol van mind a sétáló utca, mind a városi strandtól, ahol élet van.

Egyedül a párnával nem voltunk kibékülve, nekünk nagyon vékonynak tűnt. A konyhai csap szerelésre szorul, mert fröccskölt, és a zuhany csap sem volt tökéletes. Ennek ellenére mindennel meg voltunk elégedve. A személyzet nagyon szolgálatkész és kedves volt.
