The hotel is located in Keszthely, some 500 metres from the shore of Lake Balaton. The two buildings of the hotel are connected with a wellness area, which features a heated overflow pool, and plenty of exotic and Mediterranean plants. From the pool you can take the panorama lift to the roof terrace, from where you can enjoy a breath-taking view of the town Keszthely.

In 1790 Laszlo Csány, the Minister of Transportation and Public Works in the second independent Hungarian government, was born here. Later he was the plenipotentionary commissioner of Lajos Kossuth in Transylvania, and became one of the martyrs who were sentenced to death by hanging Oct. 10.1849. In the middle of the 19th century the castle was devolved on the Batthyany family, and was reconstructed in baroque style. It was operated as an orphanage from 1945. This period has put its signs on the walls and furniture. The complete destruction of the Castle was stopped by the reconstruction, started in 1997. It gave back the building’s original style from both outside and inside. Today you can enjoy its 33 stylish furnished apartments with cable TV and telephone, restaurant, conference room, thermal bath, sauna.
